ハウスミカンの出荷始まる

　ハウスミカンの出荷が２２日から始まり、浜松市の選果場では出荷作業に追われています。
　このみかんは冬に食べる温州みかんと同じ種類で、ハウスで季節を逆転させて栽培し、毎年この時期が出荷となります。みかんはまず、人の目で傷をチェックします。その後、光センサーを使って甘さや大きさごとにみかんを選別していきます。今年のみかんの出来は上々ということで、値段は１キロ１２００円くらいで取引されるということです。ＪＡとぴあ浜松のハウスミカンは９月中旬ぐらいまで出荷が続き、その後、露地モノの早生みかんの出荷が始まります。

鉢植えのハイビスカス　下田

　南国情緒にあふれたハイビスカスの花の鉢植えの出荷が下田市の園芸農家で最盛期を迎えています。
　鉢植えのハイビスカスの出荷が最盛期を迎えているのは下田市相玉の園芸農家後藤信人さんのハウスです。
　後藤さんは約６６０平方メートルのハウスで赤や黄色、オレンジなど１０種類のハイビスカスを栽培しています。今年は天候不順で栽培の管理は大変だったということですが、苗は順調に生育し、出荷作業は今がピークで、毎日約１万鉢もあるハイビスカスの手入れと出荷の作業が手際よく進められています。
　この鉢植えのハイビスカスは主に京浜地区の市場に出荷され出荷作業は来月中旬ごろまで続けられるそうです。
