ハウスミカンの出荷始まる

　ハウスミカンの出荷が２２日から始まり、浜松市の選果場では出荷作業に追われています。
　このみかんは冬に食べる温州みかんと同じ種類で、ハウスで季節を逆転させて栽培し、毎年この時期が出荷となります。みかんはまず、人の目で傷をチェックします。その後、光センサーを使って甘さや大きさごとにみかんを選別していきます。今年のみかんの出来は上々ということで、値段は１キロ１２００円くらいで取引されるということです。ＪＡとぴあ浜松のハウスミカンは９月中旬ぐらいまで出荷が続き、その後、露地モノの早生みかんの出荷が始まります。

鉢植えのハイビスカス　下田

　南国情緒にあふれたハイビスカスの花の鉢植えの出荷が下田市の園芸農家で最盛期を迎えています。
　鉢植えのハイビスカスの出荷が最盛期を迎えているのは下田市相玉の園芸農家後藤信人さんのハウスです。
　後藤さんは約６６０平方メートルのハウスで赤や黄色、オレンジなど１０種類のハイビスカスを栽培しています。今年は天候不順で栽培の管理は大変だったということですが、苗は順調に生育し、出荷作業は今がピークで、毎日約１万鉢もあるハイビスカスの手入れと出荷の作業が手際よく進められています。
　この鉢植えのハイビスカスは主に京浜地区の市場に出荷され出荷作業は来月中旬ごろまで続けられるそうです。

浜松大空襲の慰霊祭　６４年前のきょう爆撃

　６４年前の１８日、アメリカ軍の爆撃機による大空襲を受けた浜松市で、犠牲となった人のための慰霊祭が開かれました。
　慰霊祭は死者・負傷者、約１６００人を出した１９４５年６月１８日の浜松大空襲の日に合わせて、毎年開かれています。浜松市戦災遺族会の飯田末男会長が、「今の平和は戦争という犠牲の上に築かれました。
　戦争を２度と起こさないことを誓います」とあいさつし、参列者が花を捧げ、平和への祈りを込めて、手を合わせていました。
　浜松市は合わせて２７回に及ぶ空襲や艦砲射撃を受け、市内の７割が被災し、合わせて４０００人以上の死者・負傷者が出ました。

浜松の交番で窓ガラス割られる

　１５日午前４時４５分ごろ浜松市南区の交番で、入口のドアのガラスが割られているのをパトロールをしていた警察官が発見しました。
　ガラスにはこぶし大ぐらいの穴があいていて、交番の前には石が落ちていました。犯行時間は交番に勤務していた警察官がパトロールで留守にしていた１５日、午前２時ごろから午前４時４５分までの間とみられています。
　警察では器物損壊の疑いで捜査をしています。

　１４日夕方、浜松市で道路を渡っていた小学生が走ってきた車にはねられました。小学生は頭を強く打ち、重体です。
　細江警察署によりますと、１４日午後５時すぎ浜松市北区細江町気賀で、近くに住む小学４年生の男の子が道路を横断中、男性の運転する乗用車にはねられました。男の子は頭を強く打って重体です。
　現場は片側一車線の道路で横断歩道がありませんでした。

榛原総合病院に公設民営案

　経営悪化が問題となっている榛原総合病院について、病院を運営する牧之原市と吉田町は指定管理者制度を導入して公設民営化する方針を明らかにしました。
　榛原総合病院を吉田町とともに運営する牧之原市の西原茂樹市長は議員総会で述べ、指定管理者制度を導入し、公設民営化に踏み切る方針を明らかにしました。今後３カ月をかけて指定管理者の公募と選定をするということで西原市長は早ければ今年９月から指定管理者に移行したいと説明しました。榛原総合病院は、新しい病棟の建設などで約１７０億円の借金を抱え、経営の危機に直面しています。指定管理者による公設民営化で医療水準を保ちながら、厳しい財政状況を改善できるのか注目されます。

浜松でもオタマジャクシ降る？

　石川県でオタマジャクシが道路などで見つかり、空から降ってきたのではないかと話題になっていますが、浜松市の学校でも不思議な場所でオタマジャクシが見つかりました。
　オタマジャクシが見つかったのは浜松市中区の西遠女子学園のテニスコートです。１３日の早朝に、テニスコートをオープンキャンパスの駐車場として使おうと準備している時に見つけたそうです。
　半径５メートルほどの範囲に４０匹ほどがちらばって死んでいて、中にはカエルもまざっていたということです。
